Well although it's in black and white I don't think it's from the black and white era... the actor seems to be playing a doctor, possibly Mad... and... and.... that's all I got.

The film is in black and white (albeit later than most), but the doctor isn't mad.

If there are no real decent guesses, I will give out a big clue, as I think this one may just be too fiendishly difficult. :D :twisted:

Well, just so you know, it's not Patrick McGoohan, Marlon Brando (yes, I was being funny), or Laurence Olivier. He's a fairly well known American actor of that time.
