Postby pip » Thu Jul 28, 2011 8:15 am

Seems Mal is better than the Doc but we knew this already . Interesting poll though dominated by Doctor Who and his spinoffs and the Whedonverse

The Top 10 Sci-fi Icons Of All Time

1 Captain Mal Reynolds (Firefly)

2 The Doctor (Doctor Who)

3 Captain Jack (Torchwood)

4 Buffy (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

5 Spike (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

6 Ianto (Torchwood)

7 Harry Potter

8 Mr Spock (Star Trek)

9 Dean Winchester (Supernatural)

10 Starbuck (Battlestar Galactica)

Is that from the new special that came out, 21st century only? I was thinking of getting that today :D

Cool results, didn't expect to see Ianto so far up there... :?

Do I get this right - Top 10 Sci-fi Icons of ALL TIME but only for the 21st Century? :? We're 11 years in - not much of an "all time" to choose from! Having said that, I can't complain about Capt Mal being up there. Firefly rocked.

Boo! The Doctor should be no 1!

I demand a recount! Neither Mal nor the Doctor should be top 10 material!
