Camelot's been axed  Damn I was getting into it, typical I sometimes feel like the DEATH of shows :(

Second episode of Torchwood didn't seem as slow to me and the 'head on backwards bit' was brilliant!

From Spoilertv.com:

Camelot is now officially cancelled, Starz decided not to pick up the show for a second season, 3 weeks after the airing of the 10th episode and season One finale, now series finale.

The reasons of this cancellation are unclear but while the ratings weren't so bad, the production costs in Ireland were probably too high to keep the show going under the circumstances (Camelot often had mixed or bad reviews).

Just watched episode 2, enjoying Mekki Pfeeiffer more than capt Jack at the mo! Even if the series is a bit slow so far it is very good and the last half of this ep was great with the rush to save Jack and the scene in the airport near the end. :D

Just sat and watched episodes 1 and 2 straight after each other. Very good, slow to start, but boy when it gets going :)

Will definitely try to see the remaining episodes.
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

It was worth watching just for Gwen's "I'm Welsh" line followed by a great right hook.

Dichen Lachman.

Very pretty girl, but she looked very odd in that eppy. Perhaps it was because she had her hair pulled back, but I got the strangest feeling that at any minute she'd point an extra long finger, with the tip lit up, and ask to phone home.

According to somebody on the POV boards...

Episode 3 lost another third of a million viewers but total is still over 4 million so not too bad.

I'm enjoying it and will continue watching, but for me it's not as good as Children of Earth, or as fun as the first two series, so it's a bit blah at the moment. Some of the themes are a bit familiar too, humans are as much monster as the aliens, sinister corporations etc. But as long as Captain Jack and Gwen are kicking arse it will be worth watching :D
