Well worth it its the mix of western and sci-fi that you wish star wars was now your an adult! There is only 14 episodes plus the film that came out 5 years after the series was cancelled. Both series and film are awesome and so unpredictable and have such amazing complex characters. If you're a fan of buffy and angel, its the same creator, Joss Whedon. So excellence is assured! Also my girlfriend loves it even though the sometimes baddies, the reavers, scare her!

Cheers. I'd seen firefly on Play.com for about twelve quid and might give it a go. They've the spin off film as well.

I've got both on DVD if you want to borrow them?

I've seen about 4 episodes of Firefly, and couldn't get into it.

Must try again one of these days!!

I loved both the series and the film, but my girlfriend at the time hated it. She couldn't get over the fact that for a sci-fi series they spend a lot of time being wild west cowboys

I don't know why I couldn't get into it, as I love Saint Joss of Whedon's stuff.

Plus, I get to watch Nathan Fillion, so that can't be bad!! :oops:

I also forged a strong lust (over 4 eppys) for Adam Baldwin. :oops:

I did enjoy Buffy and Angel so could be worth the look .

Sometimes series don't grab you the first time i suppose.
Found that with Dexter.
Now i'm into the third series
