Shrek-Ever After....Howazzit?

Postby Ponder Stibbons » Fri May 28, 2010 3:04 pm

ANyone seen the latest shrek? Just saw it last wednesday. QUite good, not as good as the others i think. There were too many time paradox cliche-styles and too much unexplained. Animation was brill thou8gh.

Rate on a scale of 17
5 max points for animation
5 for effects
5 for plot
2 extra for whatever you want

Edit: I choose 4,5,2,1(for the wigs)=12

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm quite dissappointed about Shrek... the first movie was of course very creative and something new, but the other two were much-much less, I think. So I won't be in a hurry to watch it in the cinema... I can wait untill DVD comes out...
Listen.

I've enjoyed the last few Shrek films but I'm getting tired of this franchise. I think that this fourth film is just a bit more than I need of the Shrek character.

Adored the first Shrek.
Loved the second.
The third was OK.
I'll rent Shrek IV on DVD. :P

I really liked the first and the second (because of the cat aww), but the third was already so-so, not so much looking forward to see the 4th..

First one was good, second one was good, third was alright, I guess, and now... eh...
I feel like they're trying to cling to a character in order to milk more out of the series, but it seems a bit tired now. Haven't seen the fourth one, but unlikely to go watch it. How about a new character, Dreamworks? What about a bookish zombie who gets taken on an adventure to stop his tomb library being bulldozed in by an ambitious theme park designer?

I am going to see it tomorrow in 3D.
I loved all the other Shrek films & have them on DVD too.

I'll rate it for you when I've seen it, Ponder. I am going with a totally unbiased feeling.
Best wishes,
Tiff

They've been getting steadily worse. But at least they are consistent in that.

Wasn't impressed by the 4th instalment, it didn't add anything and I feel cheated having paid that much on a few hours 'entertainment'

My sister had won 4 free tickets for the first screenin at our area.

first Shrek 10/10
second 7/10
thrid 4/10
fourth 3/10

this movie would have fit in 5 to 10 minutes. the 3-d effects were nice.
best of it was Donkey
