Getting in the Christmas spirit with Christopher Moore's, The Stupidest Angel - A heart warming tale of Christmas Terror. Only up to page 70 and already Santa has been murdered with a shovel and the angel has been run over by an ex pot smoking cop in a Volvo

Found Death comes to Pemberley (PD James) in charity shop so I'm giving it a go. I'll persist, if only to find out who dunnit, but it's not my thing really. Also found my ancient copy of The Hobbit (1968 Unwin paperback) so that's probably my Christmas reading sorted.

I'm toying with the idea of getting it Tony as I want to re-read it before I go to see again at my local cinema, but my copies are in a box and as there is 30 or so boxes about all piled 10ft high in the walk in cloak room and stacked to the door I will have trouble finding the " T " box, just in the process of building the bookcases. :)
