...or the bloody Olympics!! (making flights to England three times more expensive in August, which is the time flight prices increase anyhoos because it's the major time for Japanese to go abroad.)

Well when Japan win their Worldcon bid it will be just down the road for you then Pooh, and that will be August or early Sept. where it will cost me a lot to fly over, last time it was about £900.

I've done everything I put an asterisk next to, plus I stayed at Bath for a few days. I was like an effing prune when I left Bath.

Was the duck tour good? I like the idea of a bus just driving into the Thames.

You going to love Bernard's shop, if you like cider a few doors up there is Uncle Tom's cabin cider pub the real Sommerset stuff, Dolphin across the road and the Bear the oldest pub in Wincanton.
Check the open times as they close one day in the week.
