I have just finished 'The First Blitz' by Neil Hanson about the 'Gotha' and 'R' Plane bomber raids on London in the first world war which was amazingly well researched, the minutiae gleaned from long forgotten records from both sides of the war is extraordinary.

If you, like me, have an interest in WWI it is compelling material, and even if you have no particular interest it is worth the read.
I have just started a good friends book 'The Rainbow In My Heart' about his hard life and his love of his wife who died so young and the trial s and tribulations endured with the (Australian) authorities.

it is hard to read when you have a personal attachment, and apparently I get a couple of (nice) mentions too.
After that I have 'Snuff' which was a recent birthday present, so that is something (hopefully) I will enjoy, and for that reason I have not read any views or threads so that I can judge for myself...
