Is there a schedule for when the his comments/reviews go up on his site?
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? ~~ Oddball

It alternates with the other series he is reading by Tamora Pierce. So this week its Tuesday/Thursday. Next week is Monday/Wednesday/Friday and so on.

All the videos go up on Sunday mornings.

Thanks Dave - I think you get the best effect by waiting 'till his comments/reviews are posted.

I'm surprised sometimes by the obvious things Mark misses until they're spelt out for him - like Death's plan for Mort and Isabelle - which was repeatedly telegraphed from almost the moment Death showed up - and some of the connections he does make which seem a little alien, coming from an American cultural perspective

But I can't wait... :)

I think what surprised Mark was not that Death had tried to find a husband for Ysabell, but that Ysabell was in favor of it. (But he didn't say exactly what he had expected, so I could be wrong.)

I'm a little puzzled by your last comment. Mark grew up in Colorado. He just hadn't read much, if any, fantasy until the last few years, so he doesn't have the 20-odd year backlog of expectations that long-term fantasy readers are likely to have. What seems alien to you?

I'm with you, Tamar. I watch the YouTube updates on Sunday and then watch the episodes on his page. :)

I'm having trouble opening Mark's site at the moment - AVG keeps blocking it as a threat called "Exploit Blackhat seo". :?

Anyone else having this problem?

You could report it to AVG as a false positive as they happen time to time, Tony.

Mark's Twitter said:

The spam attacks have been so bad that Mark has had to require all commenters to sign up with WordPress.
I understand the problem. I just dislike having to think up yet another password and log-in.
