No, High Eight, no! When Tony posted one of those videos in the Jingo discussion here I had nightmares for months.

I am in the middle of Sourcerers at the moment, and a passage made me really laugh, The one where Rincewind is in the Drum and a Hooded figure approaches him and says " Psst" to which Rincewind replys Not very, but i'm working on it" Well i nearly wet myself, it really tickled me that one. :D :D

The Dread Portal scene in G!G!.

NO SUGAR PIGGY WIGGY FOR YOU, ALBERT.

Detritus & the Alchemist - 'Ere, you loony bastard, what you make of this ?' Cracks me up, every single time.

Nanny having a bath.

My possible favourite of all though is from Soul Music;

'I can blow anything,' said Glod.
'Really?' said Imp. 'That must make you very popular.'

There's lots of bits that I've laughed myself sick over though.

The Ambiguous Puzuma :lol: :lol: .....never...and I repeat NEVER read the Discworld Companion in a hospital waiting room or anywhere where a fit of hysteria may be inappropriate. I did :o :lol:
I think this creature crops up in Pyramids but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Well I wouldn't normally, but since you asked, it's in Small Gods ;)

Dotsie was incorrect to correct Janet. It appears in both books. Its a footnote in Pyramids and one of the animals mentioned in a text Brutha has to memorise in Small Gods :D

It's fine really.....I did ask to be corrected cos I was too bloomin' idle to go and hunt out the reference. I'd reread both Pyramids AND Small Gods recently.

A footnote from ERIC - "The gods of the Disc have never bothered much about judging the souls of the dead, and so people only go to hell if that's where they believe, in their deepest heart, that they deserve to go. Which they won't do if they don't know about it. This explains why it is so important to shoot missionaries on sight."
Well, you know what they say. The past is a foreign country - - With an outdated military and huge oil reserves!

Unfortunately, I have M.E and a host of other problems which clouds my memories - so I can't remember which bits made me laugh, but I can tell you that I really pee my girlfriend off when I lay next to her giggling and scoffing, lol.

The good thing about being ill is that when I reach the end of the discworld series, I can reread them all again and they will seem like new novels. Mwahahaha.
It's hard to be optimistic when there are all these clouds attached to my silver lining.
