I feel slightly like I'm muscling in here, with you lot having been around for a while but...'Thief of Time' (probably because I've just finished reading it again!), 'The Truth' for sure. 'Jingo' maybe? God it's hard! I put about four in before finally typing that last one.

Interesting choices. Like most of us its bloody hard to get down to three and day to day it can change. Thief of time was the first DW i read so it always has a place high up my list :D

Whereas Colour of Magic was the first one I read (just after it was published) but appears quite a way down on my list. This is probably down to the evolution of the Disc, the length of time since I last read it, and the changes in Sir Terry's writing style over the years.

Oh, and hellooo and welcome from me as well -ingDaisychain. :D

I just love the character of Lu Tze in 'Thief of Time' and Susan is brilliant in that one.
I read 'The Amazing Morris' first (and it's still one of my favourites) when I was about eight but didn't get into the adult ones until I was about fourteen and now I'm hooked! The man's a genius.

Hi there.
My top three'd be...err... Last Continent, Lord& Ladies and Science of Discworld 2 (what do you mean that doesn't count?!)

(And as I am a hopeless nitpicker: Wasn't it 'Maurice' ?)

LilMaibe you are absolutely right, it is Maurice. Damn, stupid mistake :S I am ashamed...

Good choices though, I love 'The Last Continent'. Rincewind has to be one of the funniest characters of the books.
