It's a bit of a rip off, isn't it?

You can buy the COM facsimile signed for 40 quid and you get both dust jackets.

Who's the other guy who signed it? :?

It's that famous Russian merchant, Hymer Ripov.

AKA Colin Smythe

I'm sort of tempted because the dustwrapper on mine is really tatty and it would actually be worth buying this, throwing the frame and signatures away and rewrapping the book

So why not buy the facsimile book for 40 quid then you've two covers - this one and the JK cover?

I've got the facsimile book, my original is currently in the dustwrapper from that. It's just that an original wrapper in good condition would add about £500 to the value of the book

Why? :?

Is there a difference between this wrapper and a facsimile wrapper?

I think the facsimile wrapper has "facsimile" written on it somewhere. :?
