Because it seems to be the first newspaper ever printed on the DW. Progress and innovation in Ankh Morpork start, its far-sighted, even if the old money and craftsmen from Uberwald scion.

A few moments ago I bought The Truth off Amazon for my Kindle for a surprising price of £1.99  http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Truth-Discworld-Novels-ebook/dp/B00354YA3G/ref=tmm_kin_title_0

Anyone know why this is, is there something up with the Kindle Edition or is it just Amazon possibly feeling generous? I'm aware usually the DW novels (Kindle Edition) go for normally £5.22. However there are a few exceptions including Snuff which is £3.99.

They sometimes do these bargain prices to encourage people to try new authors. I have several Robert Rankin books that were free because of this. ;)
