Hmm really? I've got my own cute ickle doggy, though he can't go so much for walkies rather than waddlies. Not because he's fat, he's old!

They sound so cool don't they? I want to meet Adora Belle Dearheart, or Spike as she's affectionately known, I like her.

I like the Glooper.

I also like the Igor's expeririment with the currency designer.

Very good cast of characters.
It would be a mistake to think that they weren't also dangerous, just because reading them didn't make fireworks go off in the sky. Reading them sometimes did the more dangerous trick of making fireworks go off in the privacy of the reader's brain.

i love "spike" too it's really good to see strong empowered women in novels. The great and all powerful Sir Terry is a genius at writing strong women without being patronising considering he's a bloke (no offence men) :)

I wondered about Making Money when I started reading it. It seemed not to flow very well. BUT, it got progressively funnier until the bit when the Dog, accompanied by the "implement" desperately proposing marriage to Sgt. Angua as she perched precariously on the bronze urn.

The mental image of his jumping was too much for my brain. I could Not stop laughing.
Aha! So, Bob's yer uncle... very clever.
