A wossisname can be anything you like except you can't remember the name for it - OR when you can't say the name for some reason (as in nudge nudge wink wink although I don't think the term was used in that a wossisname, or wossername, could easily have been used in that sketch just about anywhere? )

Wossisname clearly refers to a person. That bloke who's name is on the tip of your tongue... met him last year.... wife was a nightmare, I mean, who does she think she is? But he had a really nice car though. Must have got it through work.
