i'm a fellow sufferer - was diagnosed 2 years ago after coming home from work and falling asleep on the sofa! - do you now how hard it is for some one with a bad memory to remember to take tablets !! going to the doc's tomorrow morning for my blood tests to see how stable I am ...thyroid wise that is...

Glandular fever does that to you as well remember falling asleep sometimes at work then I worked in a hospital in admin but it was a private one so I could not be treated there,that was before I had developed Hypothyroidism.

I was having problems with not being able to wake up toward the end of my Pre-diagnosis. I had no idea why, and it was a great stress in all parts of my life. Most die of a Heart Attack or a Thyroid Storm induced coma. But... OH NO NOT I, I WILL SURVIVE, OH AS LONG AS I KNOW HOW TO LOVE, I KNOW I'LL STAY ALIVE!!!

They gave me a new drug/tablet to try, it prevented a heart attack can't remember what it was called now I was on a very high dose 80mills 2 four times a day side effect it caused you hair to thin and fall out on a such a high dose, possible heart attack or a full head of hair my hair is still there well a quite bit thinner on top still longish but still alive and kicking.
