I have the Science books on my shelf but I've only skimmed through them I've never actually read them but if there is a fourth one coming out I'll probably read the first three just before the fourth comes out.Does anybody know what the fourth will be called?

Just listening to! The Science of Discworld: Revised Edition, unabridged version, updated to include new facts due to what has been found out since the original book was published.

They do know how to make it interesting and sound simple, I think the science parts sound even better when it is read aloud it's like being in a lecture room, although I did not go to uni I have attended lectures of a simular nature, I hope they put out the other books on audio.

I always read the science bits, though I will admit I did have to force myself a bit not just to skip to the story.

I still found the science chapters interesting, though.

I was talking to Jack Cohen yesterday and he said that the parts written by him and Ian Stewart are now with the publishers, they are just waiting for Terry to tweak his sections, so not long to go now

Last I heard it might be out by next summer.

Jack expected the book to be complete by the end of this month, when the publishers actually release it of course is another thing entirely

I skipped the science bits myself but I like the idea of a story and an education all in one book. I am curious how the story will progress now though, I thought the last book finished it all. (Oh yay, this will be the 5000th post of the "Latest books" category! )

I have the books and also the audio books which are great for the science bits as they make it sound so logical and not too over your head baffling, just finished listening today the 3rd one today Darwins Watch, that's what is really good with the unabridged ones you get the full story nothing missing.
