Where is Everyone?

Postby Lady Vetinari » Tue Oct 27, 2009 11:33 pm

This is the Where Is Everyone thread... for when you come on and no one else is around.

Just a thing to say ...

WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?

And other things like ... you can have a covincing argument with yourself if you like ...

Jan's the one who argues with herself.

It's 8:40am and I'm just about to go out and teach at a community centre.

Not too far into the future! He can't tell us whether 2012 will be the end of civilisation as we know it! Though Londoners may feel slightly inconvenienced ... I will be going to sleep in a moment.

I'm 9 hours ahead of UK.

The world isn't going to end in 2012. It's going to end on Dec 23 2015 when the Mayan calendar runs out! :P

So that means it's midday where you are? It's a little late for my brain to be calculating properly... which is probably a sign I should be heading off to sleep soon

Whooo :D Time zones confuse me.... my Canadian family are 6 or 7 hours behind UK time and my poor wee brain struggles to accept that it's still fairly early there.

I'm in the UK, but never quite grasp the whole "time" thing. That's why I'm forever posting stuff through the night when there's no-one else online.:D I get caught out by the clock change thing twice a year as well.

A poster outside one shop urged people to Dig For Victory, as if it were some kind of turnip.

I'm in a rainy, drizzley weather-hell known as England.

I'm going to need a swat team, ready to mobilize, street maps covering the whole of florida, a pot of coffee, 12 jammy dodgers and A FEZ.

I've found a site called Qlock.com very handy for keeping track of time in other parts of the world. You can download widgets onto your desktop that you can set for various parts of the world so you can see the time in 'real-time'. I have one set to Arizona at home. :D
