Work keeps us from three Great evils: boredom, vice and need. Voltaire
Aha! So, Bob's yer uncle... very clever.

Unless you're in the Guild of Seamstresses in which case it's your job description and a means to somebody's end?

Here's a nice thought

If wishes were horses, beggars would ride... discuss

Why just beggars? Surely everyone who had a wish would ride. And some beggars might like being beggars, so wouldn't ride. Fole Ole Ron possibly quite likes being a beggar. And where would they get the horses from if they didn't have any money? Just because you're a beggar doesn't mean you're a thief. And there probably wouldn't be enough horses to go round for everyone to ride one. What if a horse had a wish? Is this offer only limited to humans? What if a two year old beggar had a wish, how are they going to ride a horse? Their feet wouldn't reach the stirrups. And just because they try to ride doesn't mean they can actually ride. Don't you have to have lessons or something? And another thing .......etc etc

Nods - and wouldn't a beggar want to wish for something to eat/drink/smoke ahead of poncing around on some big sweaty animal with hooves and big teeth (seriously have you seen the size of their pegs? ).

Also it's bloody uncomfortable on top of one of the buggers without a saddle too... :(

If "ifs" and "buts" were pots and pans, there'd be no use for tinkers.

I'm using my phone. It does limit me, though, to what I can post.

*Oh God! He's off about Japan again!*

In Japan the internet cafe's are slightly different to how you know them. It costs 3 pounds an hour and you get your own little room with vibrating massage chair, computer, Playstation (games are free), TV and DVD (DVDs are free), you can smoke, drink unlimited coffee/soft drinks, get porno channels (though for some reason all pubic hair has those little squares so you can't see unless you squint - allegedly) and has a shower.

People actually live in these internet cafes coz it's cheaper than a hotel.
