Log in cookies (Firefox)

Postby Jinx » Tue Sep 02, 2008 12:07 pm

When I open my browser to these forums on my work PC (where I use IE6) the automatic log-in works as expected. However, at home I use Firefox and though I stay logged into other sites on it, I have to log in myself when I visit these forums.

Has anyone else noticed this? Anyone know of any browser or firewall settings that might interfere with the TP forum cookies but not others?

It's no big deal, I'm just curious about how it happens.

I use Firefox 3 at both work and home and have not experienced any problem with login cookies.

Have you tried deleting your cookies to see if this fixes the problem next time round?

Yeah, it was the Dark Tower books that got me started.

I have this problem too. I have to sign in to this site about 3 times on average but all other sites run as expected using Firefox 3.
