Which Discworld book? [quote game]

Postby Tristan » Sat Oct 10, 2009 10:17 pm

So what do you think about this game? I'll give you a quote from one of the 37 Discworld books, and you must guess the book. After you've guessed (correctly), you may give a new quote, and someone can quess after you, and so on and so on.

And of couse, no major spoilers here. Don't make it too easy, but don't make it too hard, too. Good luck.

“Steal five dollars and you were a petty thief. Steal thousands of dollars and you were either a government or a hero.”
"...my father is the Emperor of Klatch and my mother is a small tray of raspberry puddings."

Actualy, the first quote sounds more like what someone would say about Cohen. I just read Guards Guards, not that book i dont think.

I'm 100% sure it's from Going Postal 8)
Getting an education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.
