What's the weather doing where you are?

Postby Tonyblack » Wed Sep 02, 2009 6:24 pm

It's been pouring down here most of the day. The forecast says "light rain" - I do wish those people would look out the window now and again. :(

What's it like in your neck of the woods? :D

Today is sunny with cool temperatures. They keep calling it "The Summer That Wasn't" apparently it has been the third coolest summer on record. We have had more rain than I can remember in my life this year*, other than the "Rainy Season" in the Dominican Republic... i.e. hurricane season. So, when it is NOT raining we are quite grateful.

* Like Terry says someone should go and find that blasted butterfly in Africa and tell it to stop flapping it's bloody wings so the weather will calm down.
Aha! So, Bob's yer uncle... very clever.

It's hissing down here in the South East. Really noisy on the conservatory roof.

We even had sone showers in East Anglia. Still, as it's late night clubbing here, it'll mean that the noisy boozed up ne'er-do-wells will be less noisy and go straight home! Great stuff!

It's hot and humid here in the Mid Atlantic area. I spent most of today walking around campus and sweating like crazy in rooms that apparently don't have very good air conditioning. In other words, a typical east coast summer day. :)

It's been the coldest summer in Japan that I have experienced. Still shorts weather though. Looks a bit grey this morning.

Sunshine in Cardiff at the moment, but a lot of lumpy grey clouds nearby.

Oh by the way - a tip. If you want to make the ° symbol on a keyboard you can do it by holding down the 'Alt' key and typing '0176' on the numeric keypad. So I can type that it's currently 57° F ot 14° C.
