I love to go to Wales :D but I visited England and Ireland as an apprentice on a ship so I only could visit Liverpool and Dublin(our ports of call, we usually only stayed 1 day there). I definitely will visit Wales sometime

Weeel now,

Born Dixon IL US

Grew up Belvidere IL (bad place) small town that seems to harbor Many pedophiles  They busted two more in the last 6 months. Bad, Bad place.

Dominican Republic, Jarabacoa 1 1/2 years in a "Christian" brain washing attempt... can you tell it did not work? Muahahahaha! Met Jimmy Buffet in early '77  Playing guitar (when they finally stopped taking it away as punishment) and LoTR saved me Grey Matter.
However, I used to run away and party about once every six weeks or so. Looking on the map I pretty much covered the entire island, alone at the ages of 15 and 16. No diseases, no trauma, made relatively good decisions and had a HELLA good time on my own. I am lucky it was safe back then and I was 5'7", good looking and had a good right hook.

Haiti on a group vacation with the school, got stung over 100 times by wasps (don't recommend that either) and got to climb the Fortress in Cap Haiten and sat on the edge of a 300 foot wall dangling my feet off. Now I could not get near the edge LOL

Newton Kansas US Really don't recommend it, 'orrible place, flat, no parks, and too many tornadoes.

Oops Gotta add Ontario Canada for a week long fishing trip. Beautiful.

and many visits to St. Pete's Beach to visit me Da in Florida.

Rockford IL US Good town, lotsa parks and maybe, just maybe hosting the white water rafting part of the 2016 Olympics if Chi-town gets it.

Byron IL US Little log cabin across from Da Nuke plant on our own slice of heaven.

Hopefully somewhere in the world for the 2010 Terry Pratchett Convention :D

In the U.S.:

1. The Great Smokey Mountains twice
2. Washington, D.C. many times
3. New York City many times
4. Philadelphia many times (don't recommend)
5. Vermont and New Hampshire for a few days.
6. Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Monument
7. drove through Chicago
8. Falling Water in western Pennsylvania
9. Santa Fe twice
10. Moab, Utah for Arches National Monument
11. Denver, CO
12. Boulder, CO
13. I lived in Loveland, CO for about 2 years
14. Cheyenne, Wyoming
15. Hiddenite, North Carolina for a weekend to dig for gems
16. Jersey shore, woo! (really don't recommend, but I have family close by)
17. I've driven through a bunch of other places, like the mid-freakin'-west, but I don't count those.

Abroad:

1. Quebec for a day (they almost didn't let me in the country)
2. Catania, Sicily for a week
3. Venice for 2 days
4. Rome for 5 days
5. Salzburg for 4 days
6. Gothenburg, Sweden and the countryside for a week
7. Spent a few hours in Verona switching trains
8. I rode the train through German and Denmark, which was quite an ordeal. Stopped god knows where in Germany because of fallen trees, got bussed to Munich, and caught another train to Copenhagen. Stopped in Copenhagen, but didn't get much outside the train station.
