That looks amazing! I wonder how long it took to build those (and how many packets of candy they used  )

I'm hungry now...

I was most surprised to read that this young man has a girlfriend. I wouldn't have guessed it.

 I think I need to go to the dentist...

Minor quibble - the lowest wall of Minas Tirith should be made of liquorice as it was made of the same virtually indestructible material as Orthanc (and don't bother to tell me it wasn't in the films because they are wrong and I am right! ) which is why they had to use catapults and concentrate on knocking the gates down, 'cos the rest of it wouldn't budge short of Sauron starting to play with tectonic plates... blah blah blah....

If he'd done it in white chocolate then I'd have had it down in about 10 mins flat but as it happens I'm not that into jelly babies so it would have taken me a few days

I've got a confession to make.
I saw all the LOTR films but I thought they were a bit boring.
Sorry! :(

Well how does this sit - I always fast forward bits of the Battle of the Hornburg (Helm's Deep's a mountain valley not the Fortress  ) and most of the Pellennor with the mumakil bits and after Theoden's brown bread (although the Foresworn Undead were pretty good)

You can tell Peter Jackson's a real fan but the moral of the LotR story is you can't make that film for Hollywood because the last 2 films in particular have several completely spurious and frankly crappy boring and far too long bits in there which spoil it pretty much for the 'lorists' (which is kinda just in that they spoil it for the 'normal' fans) and people who do love the book(s). I was actually grinding my teeth in the cinema when the bloody Pelennor went on and on and on - TBH they could have easily chopped a good 50% of that and have plenty of time to put the proper ending in, but no - lets have Legolam (his Bored of the Rings name) sliding down a CGI giant ellies trunk - B*STARDS!
