Curious perhaps. But thousands of them (even if they're the smaller ones--only about 5 ' long--and carnivorous) would scare the bejesus out of me. They are gorgeous and, they think communicate through changing colors. But the ones in this video are saying things I don't want to hear.

But I think you'd have to be crazy to swim with these red devils.

I prefer my squid fried in a light batter with lots of salt and lemon juice thanks :)

I think they are fascinating creatures. Octopus, or should it be octopuses or octopi(?) are as well. :D
Best wishes,

I find eating squid a bit like chewing fishy elastic bands.

I'm going to need a swat team, ready to mobilize, street maps covering the whole of florida, a pot of coffee, 12 jammy dodgers and A FEZ.

I once had the "All you can eat scandinavian buffet" on a ferry to Denmark, and thought "these onion rings are very chewy......."

Order them in Greece or the Islands - they're so overfished they generally don't get big enough to be tough and elasticy and they taste wonderful.

Or maybe it was the retsina from the barrel...
