I have a real cat question. My descendants and I have been wondering...

Which is kind of like 'enquiring minds want to know' only weird.

Since dogs age 7 years to our every 1, how do cats age?
I know they don't mature, but how is their true "cat age" determined?

Cats age: Human age:
1 month 5 til 6 months
2months 9 til 10 months
3 months 2 til 3 years
4 months 5 til 6 years
5 months 8 til 9 years
6 months 10 years
8 months 13 years
1 year 15 years
2 years 24 "
4 " 32 "
6 " 40 "
8 " 48 "
10 " 56 "
12 " 64 "
14 " 72 "
16 " 80 "
18 " 88 "

As you can see, cats don't age like dogs at all.
Can't give you any scientific explanations unfortunatly, this is just how I learnt it

Dogs sort of grow old like us humans, gradually. Cats can seem young "forever" and then suddenly, almost overnight, they are very old indeed.

It used to be said that the BBC was run by a bunch of pinko commies. This appears to be no longer true. It's been taken over by a bunch of cat lovers!
