A few people may be a bit puzzled by that Tiffany my1st album I bought was I think Beatles Hard Days Night 1st 45 was Little Richard's Long Tall Sally memory is a bit vague on that one can't remember if it was a 78 the 1st one but it was quite a while ago.

Heh - it just coincided with the first time I had 'my own' money (pocket money ) and nicked mum's old record player, one of those ones in a case, if you knows what I mean - I used to toddle off to Pearsons (dept store) and sift through their record bins - no HMV in those days!

The first UB40 album I bought had an hologram on the front cover, which was cutting edge back then!

Mind you, if you want to mention ye olde gadgets and systems (like 78s), I still have a working black and white marconi television!
