Hey, I'm surprised, I haven't read things like Hotel California, Tears in Heaven or The Riddle (the original by Nik Kershaw, not the cover) here yet.
They're usually some of the first songs that show up.

Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd.

The Floyd are probably my favourite band ever and the solo at the end of Comfortably Numb is just beautiful and full of emotion. When they played it at Live 8 back in 2005 it made me cry.

It's my favorite track as well but there are so many good ones by Pink Floyd, also really like Dark Side of the Moon. Definitley my favourite group.

And the electric violin tracks by Simon House on the earlier Hawkwind albums when Mike Moorcock played with them.
