What are you addicted to?

Postby poohbcarrot » Thu Jun 25, 2009 2:03 pm

I'm sure everyone is addicted to something or somebody. What are you addicted to?

Robert Palmer was "addicted to love". And for all the men out there, here's THAT video;

I love chocolate! I ususally have a fun sized bar of it every day, instead of pudding.

Also, books by a certain author. Whenever I buy a new one I usually just stare at the cover for a few minutes in anticipation of reading the opening page...

Bejeweled Blitz and Farkle on Facebook.

Cigs and red wine.

The rest of us are a bit crap.

BOOKS! Chocolate Cake with Hot chocolate pudding with Good Vanilla Ice Cream on top.... and becoming re-acquainted with my guitar again after a 4 year hiatus due to depression, and This forum.

I have often had so many books in my basket that I have had serious pain in my hands and almost had to slap meself to stop from buying more.

I don't allow myself to use the nintendo ds anymore as I seem to zone out for days or however long it takes me to beat a game, I'm trying to use my game addiction to get fit by playing sports and fitness games on the wii, besides no-one will play the other games with me anymore ( I may be slightly obessesed with winning

Cigs are my big downfull, every time I try to quit I feel like I'm losing my mind

I have to have at least 15 cups of tea a day so I suppose I'm addicted to that :D

I avoid gambling at all costs, I grew up watching my Dad waste a fortune while we were struggling and worst of all I know I'd easily slip into the same if I went down that road , me and my sisters are going to Vegas in Jan ( a gift from my youngest sister) and both myself and my older sister have prewarned that we won't be checking out the casinos as it turns out we both don't trust ourselves

Cigarettes, coffee, chocolate, car boot sales, charity shops & fleamarkets, collecting things & the internet. Not necessarily in that order :D
Best wishes,

For years I was addicted to buying antiques. Or maybe it was the thrill of the hunt, I don't know. I have a huge collection of vintage mermaid figurines. I've let go of a lot and it's still huge. Then it was vintage Tinker Bell figurines, and then any Tinker Bell figurines. For a very long time it was Discworld stamps.

If I had to pick something that I'm addicted to right now, it's the idea of travelling. I just want to be on vacation all the time. Obviously, I don't get to pursue that addiction much more than once a year. :roll:
