Thought I'd let you in on the email I received this morning from my ever so delightful boss.

Jane

Sounds as though all is well. Very good!

Minimal bit of post. The monthly salary form and a private packet from Hungary which I will mail to you today.

Only one phone call, a medical one last Friday 020 7*** **** but she said she would email you so no action needed.

No other calls. Do you want me to forward what are obviously personal e-mails to you? You will certainly be getting all these moved on to your private email from now on now, I trust.

Do you want the odd phone call ...or is email easier for you?

My pal having a course of radiotherapy for cancer in Cambridge runs or cycles to Addenbrooks for every treatment session. Keeping fit is a key part of the therapy..(!???! ) Good luck anyway.

Richard

I found out today that the President of the charity (who is the Chairman of the company upstairs, who we rent from) came down yesterday and asked Richard if he'd spoken to me.

When Richard said no, Paul said "Well don't you think you ought to?".

I imagine that was the catalyst for the phone/email question this morning.

Message for mC.

I'm guessing the package mentioned in the email I posted above is from you?

Many thanks darling. I've asked boss not to forward it, as it probably won't go through the letterbox and will cause all sorts of problems trying to get it redelivered.

It will be something to look forward to when I get back.

 Apt.

The mysterious hungarian is indeed me :) I'm glad it arrived, I was getting worried it got lost or something.
Don't worry about the parcel, it won't run away - although you might want to ask your boss to feed the cat once in a while and maybe put some more air-holes on the package...
Listen.

Strenuous exercise is not recommended during radiotherapy, in fact they tell you to rest as much as you can. They weren't even happy about me driving the 80-odd mile round trip every day but it was Hobson's choice on that one.
