At one farmers' market we had a portaloo delivered for the day for the use of traders (the public loos were being refurbished) and got some funny looks when we asked the standholder next door, 'Keep an eye on the stand please. Just going for a trip in the TARDIS'. Always an act of desperation though as it stood on cobbles and wobbled. There are some moments when a firm footing is prefered.......

 You'd think they'd get in trouble for using that name.

Having seen one of those on its own in a park a couple of months ago, a friend and I were having much the same discussion. If Dr Who was being started from scratch these days, perhaps they would use a portaloo instead of a Police box. After all, they are ubiquitous and no-one takes any notice of them. (What's the difference between a portaloo and a Tardis? The portaloo has a loo inside)

I suggested that they could have a lot of fun in an episode if the chameleon circuit suddenly kicked in when the Dr was visiting a pop concert or such like! Imagine trying to find the Tardis among hundreds of portaloos. (I'm a bear of little brain and simple things amuse me)

BTW, a few weeks ago I saw how they are loaded back on the lorries; it was at Ilkley after "Le Tour". Just a couple of blokes man-handling them onto the flat bed of their truck. Considering how they wobbled, I was surprised they didn't have leakage problems.

I seem to remember an episode (I think with Colin Baker) where he fixed circuit, but it kept turning into bizarre objects that really looked out of place. Unless I imagined it . . .

NOT SO FUNNY OR CLEVER, but the caption with it made me smile. :) One for the Country & Western fans who will get it.
As Kenny Rogers would say "You took a fine time to leave me loose wheel"

I remember that at the time, it's Maxime Berger at Donnington race track in 2011. He was not going particularly quickly at that part of the circuit and was fine. By the way it wasn't the fault of hit pit crew not fitting the wheel correctly, as you can see below all 6 spokes of the wheel itself sheared.

One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..
