I do want to say something here on a serious note that I think needs to be said. No one here should feel under any pressure at all about this. If I understand Trish's original idea correctly, this is just meant to be fun. If anyone is feeling pressurized, then it ceases to be fun and that's not a good thing.

Donations to charity should be voluntary. If anyone feels they want to make a donation to Alzheimer's charities, they can do it online through www.justgiving.com But I think we all understand that some members have more money than others - some people simply cannot afford to donate - especially the way finances and the employment are at the moment.

So let's keep this thread fun - ok.

Yeah, times are a little lean, but hey. 10 bucks is what... 3 gallons of gas, as many of milk or 4 loaves of bread. I eat too much bread, am lactose intolerant (unless it's ice cream... odd, that) and my car gets all kinds of mileage.

The colon rule would be great; people misuse them all the time.
I was lucky and had an excellent English teacher my first year of high school.
She made us use the punctuation she'd taught us.


And how did you know it's Jpz? Story behind this little Accord... Fellow who had it ran it hot and the anti-freeze leaked out, so there wasn't enough for the transmission cooler, so it quit shifting. Two repaired lines later, I have a free car.
