I use Pro Show gold from Photodex which I find to be very easy to use.

The tricky part is trying to synchronize individual slides with particular sections of music (the program does do the whole thing but it's the 'fine tuning' that I'm talking about). Also, as I learned to my cost, if you move a photo from a file, it also removes it from the project (a real pain if you haven't published it already - I lost an entire project that had taken days to do when cleaning up my discs). I now copy the images I want to use to a separate folder so that I know not to delete or alter anything from. Whatever you do, don't use the automatic 'show wizard' on a project as this just throws every special effect at the slides and transitions, giving one an almighty headache when viewing.

It's also good for DVD's as well as You Tube, if you want to make presents for people. I hope you do give it a try as it is not too expensive and I think music added to a slide show does add flavour. :D

So many pictures to catch up on here! It's a great way to spend the morning while I'm having my coffee. :D

Dug, nice bike! No wonder you had a blissful ride.

Penfold, that slideshow was amazing! You certainly did do those costumes justice. Some of them were so elaborate! There was one couple with a little dog and even the dog had a costume! The pictures of the ruins were stunning. Looks like a really fun event to attend.

Knight, those pictures are mesmerizing.

Ghost, love the zoo pics! I'll have to look through mine and see if any of them are worth posting. But, I do agree with the comment that sometimes being behind the camera makes you miss out on the event. I tried to take it in that spirit when I realized I'd left the camera behind. I do think you miss out on the experience to some degree if you're too focused on getting the pictures/video.

Catch-up I have not ridden it yet as it's still down south, I flew down to see it then back up, it would be a bit of a long journey for my 1st ride on it, need to reaquaint myself with a former lifestyle first, before any long rides.

thanks those are the last ones I'll be doing for a little while
it took me too long to recover from the zoo trip aching legs and ant bites
so I might take the odd pic on the fly but I need some time
to recoop and save up for really good trip somewhere outside of the Blackcountry

Love the giraffes, they are one of my favourite animals. :D

Love those Ghost! Especially the goats. The monkey is cute too. But, since I'm among friends, I will admit that monkeys freak me out just a little bit.

Really sorry you had to leave it behind this trip. Hope you get it soon! :D

It's certainly blue. :)

What I find interesting is the way you can see the wood grain through the paint of the Tardis. The original police boxes were made of concrete. :)
