If you look at the picture of Great A'Tuin above, it looks like her front flipper is tied on with string. What happened?

It's because on the MAIN SITE HOMEPAGE Great A'tuin is tugging a banner menu on the other end of the string linking with all the other different parts of Terry's site (including this forum)

It's easy to forget that it's not just us lot on here isn't it? :lol:

Or it have you ever heard about tying a string round your finger to remember something, or in this case a flipper.

I've branched out into forum design (as opposed to 'straight' web design and this is one of the best forum sites I've seen if not the best) so the homepage design stuck in my mind when I first joined up back in November as I was researching fantasy forum sites - Terry's a class act with everything he's associated with all round really :lol:

I know exactly what you mean. When I first saw them, I thought exactly that. But, having just found this thread, I have remembered: They remind me of a cartoon strip by Johnny Hart called BC. Syndicated in lots of papers in the US and Canada, but I don't know if they've appeared over here. I have a number of books in which the strips have been collected and published as I loved them.
