Yes, it does make sense. When you have an active imagination, things (i.e. The Luggage, Towns) and characters DO come to life in your head. That is why I love All the writings of Monsewer Pratchett (in Oggspeak). I can be sitting and not really thinking about anything very much at all and suddenly I will smile or laugh at some memory from a book. I think it is a sign of intelligence to be able to bring images to life in your head.

I totally agree. It's probably why I enjoy descriptive jokes more than some people, because I visualize them in my minds eye.
