Happy Thanksgiving.

The rest of us are a bit crap.

And we Yanks thank some of your British ancestors for being fundamentalist joykillers and who booked the hell out of the most civilized nation on Earth to end up (mainly because they had run out of beer) in a cold, snowy part of the New World where they were completely clueless and would've all died had the surviving native Americans of the smallpox epidemic earlier Europeans had brought to the continent years earlier not saved their butts, only to be rewarded for their generosity by being routinely slaughtered by their new guests over the coming centuries. :D

And now I'm off to cook a turkey, which Ben Franklin thought should be the "official national bird," for 13 people. Cheers!

Happy Thanksgiving.

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving from me too! I just completely stuffed myself. We had relatives in from Montana and Ohio, and my mom outdid herself. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, desserts. She made this sweet potato and marshmallow dish that was so yummy!
