I've only known one person who had to take Tamoxifen and they were not prescribed an anti depressant. Any doctor who would automatically prescribe one sounds questionable to me.

I feel exhausted. I'm trying to recover from some horrible, 24 hour thing.

Hugs WW! Hope you feel better soon. I would probably forget to take the tablets too.

As you may (or may not!) know, I had an MRI scan a couple of weeks ago, which showed up a third lump.

This Monday, I had a biopsy on No. 3, and yesterday (Thursday) I got the results.

GOOD NEWS!

It turns out to be a clot of some description, caused by the first biopsy.

Most unusual, according to the surgeon.

THEREFORE….

I am waiting for an appointment with the surgeon (I’m going private) sometime on 13th March – I asked him to give me a couple of weeks, as I have a diabetes eye appointment on 10th March, and didn’t want to have to cancel it – and if all goes to plan, will be going into the London Bridge Hospital for my surgery over the weekend of 15th/16th March.

I have asked him to keep me in for a few days afterwards, and he seemed agreeable. Some stay in for five days, he tells me. I could go for that!!

Presumably after my body has had a wee while to recover from the surgery, the radio therapy will start.

More good news – since I’m having that treatment on the NHS, it is possible that I can have it at Guy’s hospital, instead of St Thomas’s. Saint T’s is a bit of a bugger to get to, but Guy’s is right next to London Bridge Station, and therefore about five mins walk for me.

Will keep you posted.

That's sounds pretty optimistic, doesn't it? :D Let's hope you'll get the hospital closer by, but surely they take stuff like that into consideration..?
Listen.
