Thanks for the well-wishing, people. However, I thought I might have recovered enough to go out today. I have recovered a little, but only to the 'able to do household chores' level, not the 'go out and do what you want' level. The way the fever affects my brain doesn't help either. I have a bloody weird delirium...

Finally come to Earth after returning home last night at 11pm from loncon3. Wow - what an experience! Met a lot of very very nice people. Including WWD (Hi!) and some other DW fans - some in costume, including Nanny Ogg (complete with Greebo - doesn't he come under the description of a WMD?) and Carrot and Angua, who were going to shackle the layout...

No more fever or delirium, thankfully, but I'm still coughing, my throat feels like it's been sandpapered, and my balance is slightly wonky. And I look a bit like a character from a Tim Burton film. Still, I feel just well enough to attend to my appointments and errands today.

Tired! Yesterday was the big summer parade and the last day of fair. We had family over, cooked out and spent a long time at the fair. We were all up late!

feeling largely unfeminine and clunky :?
I've spent the last hour trying on tops for a book signing I'm going to next week
I wanted to wear something that wasn't a teeshirt or a chequered shirt
but the good I found a lovely dark red blouse that goes with a new pair of black jeans
and as a bonus a orange printed top that I can wear to a exhibition in 2 weeks
which I've still not made up my mind on actually going to
Ooh you cheeky little sea winkle

Ouch! You have my sympathy Dug.
