Glad your own business is keeping you so busy, Con, I hope it continues to be a success (although I do hope you can find more time to get on here somehow). :D

yey to old faces returning or be it for a short time
I'm happy all it well with our absent members
and as a small bonus I didn't get black eyes in the end but my poor nose feels a bit tender
and a bit stuffy like a small head cold
but aside from that there's nothing wrong with it apart from the head it's attached to :|

Just trying to re-assimilate into real life. The vacation was great, we had a blast! :D I'll try to post some pictures this week. But we came back to three days of exhausting make up homework (knew we had to pay that price), a message from an old friend of hubby's that another old friend had died, and news from his company that GM is pulling their contract. That is the only contract he works on and the only one at this location with IT positions. The company has a good reputation for putting employees in new positions, but we're not sure where they could put him. Lots of uncertainty in our future, which also means that I may not be able to come over for the DWcon this summer.

Thanks Mad. I'm definitely not cancelling any plans unless/until I absolutely have to. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that something works out! It was definitely not fun to get hit with all that coming home. I'm trying to just be grateful we had such a great trip. It will help to look through the pictures and get those organized.

Same here. I hope you can still make it to Manchester and all works out for your hubby.
