As above. :D

I nailed a test, too.
Remember two weeks ago I failed an exam by one point? Could do it again this week, an this time I had way enough points. 88,8 (add as many 8 as you want)%
:D

Now I have 4 weeks time and then I'll have to pass the first state examination, which sounds like something really big but is just something you do when you've halfway finished studying pharmacy.

I know! I'm still kind of surprised she didn't cancel lessons. The girls got to hose the horses down afterwards though, that was good.

Bet the horses liked that!. I used to have a fluffy shetland pony who loved having a bucket of water tipped over her in hot weather.

And my sister and I owned the worlds most chilled out pony when we were in out teens. Called Cobby he was so lovely and gentle. he loved the hose and as soon as it was turned un, wanted to bit the end to drink out of it!

Remembering the fun that Cobby brought has made me smile today.

Heres some (very) old photos of him - a bit small I'm afraid cos that's how they were scanned and sent to me.

Cobby having a snooze while my sister tries to get him to agree to get up and do some work.

in action jumping - he wasn't always the fastest with straight line speed, but I used to do a lot of behind the scenes training with him in the field, so that he was so agile he could land from a jump and turn immediately. He won a few competitions like that against much more expensive, better bred, younger horses. Cobby had no breeding papers, we weren't even sure what breed he was but think he was Irish cob/Connemara, and was approaching retirement when we owned him, but he just enjoyed life.

:D :D COBBY! :romance-heartsthree:
I looked after a pony belonging to an ancient neighbour in Consett and used to spend most of my spare time at the small holding. The pony was a Dales and very handsome but those old fashioned gypsies worked their horses young....broken to harness at 2 and working completely safely in all road conditions at 3. Mind, the traffic wasn't what it is now. The pony's name was Prince. I backed him at 3 and we used to hack around the countriside for miles. We didn't have a decent flat bit of land to do much schooling but he could jump and move his hooves pretty fast when he needed to  He was sold when I went to college.
 You've made me smile too Chilli!

Well done CB.

I feel that the last of the holiday stress is leaving me
I've got every thing I need and some stuff I don't
the main sticking point has been the train tickets
I've had the money for the tickets months ago
but because I'm going with my Mom and it has taken her longer to get the money together
not that I have any right to moan about that but I'd preferred to get the
tickets and travel plans finalised months ago
but that should be done by the end of today :?
I hope...
but my main smile has been because I looked up the travel plans though various websites
yesterday and blagged a extra day away for £15 less than the original £50 ticket price
and for Mom £20 less with the senior travel card she should be getting right now as I type

You sound like me, Ghost - I hate leaving things to the last moment. Hope you both have a great time. :)
