Got a text from my sister last night. She and b.i.l. stopped just outside of Chicago last night (driving from Montana to Michigan), so they'll be here today! :D

Several things.

I dropped a painting off at Kadri's flat and it looks enormous in the room where it is going, this should be fun when she manages to get it on the wall :D

She then gave me a massage that was probably the best I have had since I stopped living in Stockholm, she is a sports physiotherapist so really went to town on my aching body and then had a go at my damaged knee to see if she could do anything to improve it. It was wonderful when she stopped

After that took Kadri for a very good lunch at a new place near where she lives in the Jewelery Quarter of Birmingham (delicious) :D

Went from lunch to buy a new car and, after some negotiation, got a good deal as they knocked 22% off list and included 3 years free servicing along with the standard 3 year warranty. They even gave me more for my current car than I expected. :D :D
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

2 wheel drive. I've taken the 2 wheel drive version up a 1 in 3 field before now so the 4 wheel drive is probably overkill :D

Thanks all, I've gone for the brighter colour (I have a similar model grey one at the moment) so that hopefully people won't mistake me for fog and cause me to have to dive off the road to avoid them which happened earlier this year.

My sister and b.i.l. arrived yesterday, we all had dinner at our mom's and sat around chatting. It was great! Got invited to Car & Driver's 10 Best, so I might just do that one day this week.

This happened a couple days ago but, hubby and I had our anniversary and when Thing 2 found out she wrote sweet little notes and gave us each a quarter.

Aaw! :) What are you going to spend it on?
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
