Woke up to rain this morning. :D The forecast says there is more for next weekend too! It won't stave off the drought here in California completely, but every little bit is a blessing. My coworker is muttering about hiring the Hopi to do their Rain Dance for us. ;)
Be careful what you wish for as you just might get it.

We ordered some necklaces and a bookmark which she dropped off not so long ago. I think they're fantastic :) .

Sister J, does your artist trade over the Net? I think one of those necklaces would make a lovely birthday present for my daughter.. (PM me if you like)

Just be careful the Beeb and Dr Who Productions don't get to see them. Remember the fuss about people making and selling Adipose?

Speaking of Doctor Who, watching The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot, in preparation for meeting Peter Davison tomorrow. If you're a Whovian and haven't watched it yet, do so.

IT! IS! FUNNY!!!

I've actually got those mugs

But it's always split screen campers. It's really hard to find late bay window stuff.

Ohhhh.....dangerous question.....asking me about VW's

*anorak alert*

Split screen vans were made from the early 50' until '67 - aircooled engine - split front windscreen, small rear lights etc.

Early bay windows from '67 (smaller bumpers, smaller rear lights, lower indicators at the front, aircooled engine)

Late bays from 72/73 - 2006 - (larger bumpers, larger rear lights, larger rear air intake grills higher indicators at the front, aircooled engine)

Image

late late brazilian bay from 70s to 2013. Made in Brazil. smaller bumpers. aircooled until 2006 then changed to a watercooled 1.4 Polo engine, which meant adding a slightly iffy radiator grill on the front.

I like both types. Groovy cars, no wonder they're still popular.

putting all my little smiles of late in one post
my pre-ordered DVD arrived yesterday despite me having paid for the super scrimper extra slow delivery charges plus I was refunded a extra couple of pounds due to a slight price drop
the only niggle was the delivery person ignored both my post box and mail slot and dumped the parcel out in the open on my doorstep without even ringing my doorbell

I've brought a ticket to the Dudley ghost tour in a couple of weeks including part of the castle at night I've been wanting to do the tour for years but all my friends have either work or family so I decided to bite the bullet and just go by my self
photos if they're any good will be posted
Ooh you cheeky little sea winkle

I just get the standard post for Amazon purchases myself and haven't noticed much difference in regular services from paying rip off prices for express delivery.

Have fun on the ghost tour, I'm looking forward to seeing your pics. :D
