I'm finishing work tomorrow at 5am and then working again at 3pm but at least the casino shuts at midnight. I shall still finish around 1am Christmas day morning and then have to get home by taxi so I will end up nearly spending all my wages for that day. I would consider 'knocking' the shift but that isn't my style and it also carries a "gross misconduct" disciplinary for being sick over the Christmas period.

I would probably be dead or severely injured within a week.

I don't normally have to do this but they changed all my shifts so that there is no public transport running when I finish. (I normally work Thurs, Fri, Sat, and can either get the night bus or the first trains home. The night bus doesn't run on the days they have changed me to and they are finishing me at 3am (or thereabouts) so I have a two hour or more wait for the train.

Glad you managed to get the day off Ghost. :D

CB, hope you have a wonderful time!

Penfold, really sorry about your work schedule. Wish you didn't have to deal with that.

Ghost, glad you got the day off! Sorry you still have to deal with family. Just keep repeating to yourself that homicide is a crime and you will go to jail for it.

Forgot to say that I will be cleaning tomorrow. Just like I'm supposed to be doing right now. Which I'm obviously not because I'm here instead.
