Is Batty going to blame it on him? ;)

Had an email from Del.

It was VERY long, but I think this is the bit you might find very, err, Del-like.

I left the previous house with a bang... literally.

Last day checking everything was spotless and perfect and ran into the garage tilt door.

Brad (a young friend of my oldest Truly) found me unconscious and blood pouring from my head flat out in the driveway.

I came around in time to stop him calling an ambulance (would have been 10 hours in the local emergency room) and a girlfriend who lived nearby took me to a clinic.

All is well. Just a small cut and no stitches. Still hurts a bit but no concusion.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I read that.

She says she's very near to coming back to the forum. Hopes to get her computer up and running very soon. She can access via smartphone, it is too fiddly.

No doubt when she returns, we will be regaled with all sorts of mad, Del, stories.

A bit more detail from her facebook page

Cut my head and knocked myself out today. Brad found me, out cold in the driveway and bleeding from my head. I had run into the garage door. I remember hearing Brads voice saying "Oh sh*t! Blood!" and thinking to myself "Oh sh*t! Blood!" and turning my head a bit and seeing blood and thinking "OH SH*T! BLOOD! " and thinking... I don't have TIME to do this! Thank you Brad for looking after me. Thank you Eve for tearing around and taking me to the clinic (because it would have taken 10 hours in an emergency room) and for pushing them to see me quickly because apparently sitting there holding a bleeding head does not entitle you to jump any waiting lines. Lol. And thank you Eve for driving me around all afternoon to get what I had to get done. Was a bit vague there for a while. On the plus side.. I got to lie down and rest for the first time in weeks.. first in the driveway then on the table. So win win. Lol. Washing my hair out in the shower was a bit like the shower scene from Psycho. Its all good. Just a small cut. No stitches. Just a very sore head and I'm no more noticeably vaguer than normal
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

Poor Del! Thank goodness it wasn't too serious. Let's hope she's back on the forum real soon. :)

Oh dear! Hope she stays in one piece for a good while longer (and maybe she needs a new prescription for her glasses).

At least we know Del will have some fantastic stories when she's back.

Hope Del gets better soon and comes back to us in one piece.

Oh my goodness! So glad the accident wasn't worse and that someone was nearby to take her to the clinic. Hugs Del!
