Broadband Providers

Postby Bouncy Castle » Fri Jun 07, 2013 1:49 pm

Any of you lot with BT?

I'm looking into a BT package for the office, with unlimited broadband, phone line and calls. 24 month contract for around £25 per month.

It might be. ;)

We're currentlly paying just under thirty quid a month for 50meg of broadband, then to a separate company we pay the phone bill, which usually comes to between £35-£40 per month.

Gotta be something better out there.

I have unlimited BB with BT. You should talk to one of their people and see what they can offer. You'll probably get special rates for a business I'd think.

Can't believe you missed today's weigh in! So much cuteness!!!

You do normally get special rates for business Tony, they are more expensive than domestic rates
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

I'm afraid I went with Rupert Murdoch's Empire of Evil and took up the Sky package after having too many problems with BT broadband crashing and losing connection. The final straw for me was the customer service (or lack of) and I switched. It may be worth phoning around and comparing with Virgin as well and then saying something along the lines, "well I'll think about it but 'so and so' have offered me this". Depends on how desperate they are for business, at the moment, as to how willing they are to undercut each other. :D

Don't know if Virgin do business, and if they do, whether they're in this area.

Our phone, TV and Internet and cell bundle bill just came in, $219!

We called and they have us $15/month as good will and we took a couple of bundles away. It's pretty crazy. I know it's FibreOP and my download speed is up to 80Mbps, but geez.

Sounds like your prices are pretty good. But we know we get milked here in Canada.

We switched to BT unlimited BB a few months back because we were paying through the nose for our previous tariff and the only reason we weren't constantly exceeding our stingy BB allowance was because we have lousy 10th class download speeds (I think it just made it past the 1MB mark by the time we switched  ). The real attractant for us was the free 24/7 call feature with the 'pay for the year upfront' deal which was the killer saving - there's little difference in our BB service but at least we'll never get any more 'you've used too much' emails even if they were few and far between... :snooty:

We switched our to tv from sky because they wanted to charge us the earth for a new box, which is free to new customers  We are now a completely virgin household. ;) pay about £70 for tv, superfast broadband and phone including talk 24 and a special on 0845 numbers. Find their customer service is very good.

Long chats with BT guy.

We could get both our lines with unlimited broadband on one, and 500 free minutes per month on other, for just under £50 per month, which is £15-£20 less that we're paying now, with restricted broadband.

God, did you see Addie sitting on John's hand earlier, licking his palm.
