your collection puts my collection to shame :D
out of your collection I have only seen Gantz and steam boy which I used to own
but the Manc accent irritated me no end
I had the opportunity to buy the Gantz complete box set a number of times
but even though I enjoyed the series it was to violent for a second viewing
I have a wish list that eventually I'll get to own but first I'll work on the small gaps in my collection
which irritate the hell out of me one series and two films

Yeah, Gantz is very unforgiving in that area. one of the bloodiest series I've seen. (what made it weirder was that I got the show at wal-mart. XD) but the animation is gorgeous, the acting and music are top notch, the humor is very strange, and the story is intriguing.

for those that don't know, the story is about a group of seemingly random people of all ages taken just at the moment of their death by some ambiguous force that uses them to rid the world of aliens that have been living amongst us. All under the pretense of a game where the winner will gain their life back.

and I can agree with the irritation. having a show discontinued or a company go out of business before you can get them all made collecting a pain.

We used to have loads of Manga - most of which I can't remember now. Had Akira and Appleseed (I saw Appleseed in the cinema). We had the entire set of Bio-Booster Armour Gyver and the entire set of Dominion Tank Police. And a very odd movie called Ultimate Teacher. :?

We also used to get a Manga magazine and I won a competition there and my prize was a very beautiful Japanese (with subtitles) movie called The Courtesan. It was done in very much the style of Ukiyo-e, which incidentally was the answer to the question I got right in the competition. :D

Discworld stamps
Various editions of Going Postal and Night Watch
Birds (well - sightings of birds -twitcher). Life list is 716 - going to Oz helped with that!
Maryland history books
Somerset County, Maryland postal history
Oyster advertising covers (commercial envelopes)

I've collected other stuff in the past, but this is what I'll spend money on, and make space for, now
