The guy in the middle simply owns this.

I'm feeling solidarity with the lady at the back left who's not sure about all the moves.

The music on the new X-Men trailer reminds me of this Sunshine soundtrack which is one of my all-time favourite movie tunes.

Nice! :) bit predictable chords though, but I suppose that's what makes it popular :D

Listening to Sandy Denny. Such an amazing voice.

That's a favourite of mine :D
I've been listening to a pitched battle outside between a magpie and the pair of blackbirds who nest in my holly tree. Went out in time to watch the magpie hurtle low and fast away across the field with both blackbirds in pursuit and shortly afterwards a blackbird chick, newly fledged, landed almost ON my feet. I stayed out till I heard the parent bird return and left them to their reunion. Magpies may be handsome but they're evil buggers

This very record :D I know the Du Pre version is supposed to be definitive but Tortelier is brilliant in this. The recording quality of the video isn't brilliant however
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

Oooo yes definitely! :D Jaqueline is brilliant, but her version misses...something. I don't quite know what, but - and this will seem silly - I've been looking for something like this (obviously, not this version, just the beginning of it!), which how I imagine it should start. It's very passionate, I like it a lot :) never mind about the rest with Jonathan Handsome Rhys-Meyers singing and all... Anyway, Tortelier comes pretty close. *

* I sound as if I was such a professional, but truth is, I'd give a year of my life to play only half as good as any of them :D

Still listening to my old Elgar recordings. Reached a 1963 album of Sir John Barbirolli conducting The London Philharmonia in the Cockaigne Overture, his vision of London the land of the Cockneys
