Very cool Mici! Mad, loved the Jailhouse Rock clip.

Now that I can listen to the radio again, I love these:

How lucky you are, CB! It's great to listen to somebody playing the piano :)

SJ, our year's anthem in exam period was "Up all night to get lucky..."

Sarah McLachlan - Black

Unfortunately I can't find the version I'm listening to on Youtube, only a very rocky one and rather hard one and a violin one.
The album version is somewhere in the middle. Great song.
I'm really not a big fan of Sarah, but this song is just marvelous.

For those about to rock

When I had the MRI on Sunday, they put headphones on me, and played music, to help drown out the sound of the machine.

When I'd finished, I asked who the miserable woman singing in my ears was.

Turned out to be Eva Cassidy!!

I hated having my MRI as I felt rather claustrophobic in that machine. They never gave me any music to listen to either. :(

Our telly in the staff room finally gave up the ghost on Saturday. Fortunately, our internet connection was fixed last Thursday so I was able to spend my breaks watching Katzenjammer to cheer me up, between bouts of kittytherapy (LAPS, btw, which I think got a couple of colleagues hooked on  ) when I needed to relax. :D

I didn't find it claustrophobic as I was face down. Tits-a-danglin, arse in the air.

When I had my radiotherapy I was told i could take my own choice of music after I gently pointed out that Bob Dylan singing Knocking on Heaven's Door wouldn't have been my choice of listening but it had been one of the tracks played as I lay on the table ;)
