Two distinct versions of Dragon Soul, the theme to Dragonball Z Kai. The first is my actual favourite version, sung by Vic Mignogna...

The second, while the song isn't my favourite, the title sequence (with some variations near the end) is...

"What have you been doing since you stole that antique TARDIS of yours, since you first landed on Skaro? Shouting 'Look at me!!! I'm not fighting a war!', while you battle the Daleks all the way through space and time."

I like the detail of the ensemble in the second, but I agree, the first version, for the song, is better. maybe if they had just used the female vocals it would have been fine though.

(one day i'm gonna have to finish Kai. i have the blu-ray set for the first volume, but missed getting the rest.)

BTW, there's a full version by Sean Schemmel (voice of goku)?

Going through the themes for RWBY (pronounced Ruby) an online animated series.

Funnily enough, the theme for Breaking Bad...

"What have you been doing since you stole that antique TARDIS of yours, since you first landed on Skaro? Shouting 'Look at me!!! I'm not fighting a war!', while you battle the Daleks all the way through space and time."

Back to some early polyphony with Pérotin's Sederunt Principes. The version I'm listening to is a 1972 vinyl recording sung by the Deller Consort, rather than the more modern Hilliard Ensemble in this version
