I didn't think I knew that tune when I saw the title, but it is definitely very familiar. I'm not sure where from though - unless they've played it on Classic FM. I like it! :D

I'm listening to Tchaikovsky's 'Francesca de Rimini'. :)

Oh I was listening to a bit of Tchaikovsky the other day, too. Followed it up with Verdi's Requiem, which I bought for my dad for his birthday - I had to show him how the DVD player worked before he could listen to it...

I love Verdi's Requiem! I went to see it performed at the St David's Hall in Cardiff a few years ago and went straight out and bought a CD of it afterwards. It's funny, I seem to have a habit of collecting Requiems by various people. You can't beat a good Death Mass.

Class. :D
I have to agree, though. I'm pretty sure Mozart's was the first piece of music to give me that shiver.

I've also got quite a large collection of requiems, there is just something about them, strangely uplifting. Very fond of Fauré and also the one by Dvořák

One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

I like the Brahms. :)

And the John Rutter is quite beautiful too.
